How Drinks Affect Eggs

In year 4 we have been looking at how different drinks impact egg shells.

The liquids we used were Diet Coke, Coke, water, vinegar, milk and squash.

We used the eggs to represent our teeth and the enamel which protects them.

Our results showed that vinegar and squash had the greatest impact but water and milk have no effect at all.

Below are the photographs after the eggs had been in the liquids for one week.
