Girls' Football Festival

Classes

All our girls from year 5 and 6 braved the very unsettled weather and went to John Spence Community High School to take part a festival of footballing fun. This initiative is aimed at empowering and promoting girls' participation in football.

This exciting development addresses the growing demand for girls' football in the community. This vital support is geared towards nurturing a love for the game and fostering athletic development among young girls in the community.

Girls from years 5 and 6 attended, representing many of the local schools. The tournament was a fantastic opportunity to play on the 4G pitch and showcase the incredible growth, and commitment to, girls football in our area.

They all enjoyed themselves and I would like to give a special thank you to them all as they braved the weather and the all the games to have a great afternoon. It was lovely to see so many happy faces.
