The miserable weather didn’t stop Year 3 from having a brilliant trip to the Rising Sun Country Park just before half term. They completed a number of Stone age workshops and the leaders were super impressed with their knowledge around the topic. All of the children enjoyed making their own flat breads from scratch and cooking them on the open fire, modelling what life would’ve been like during this period. Everyone agreed it was tiring and very hard work!
