In RE, we are looking at the Easter Story. We have begun this unit by looking at artworks depicting the last days of Jesus’s life, starting from the Last Supper. We firstly identified the events then matched them up with biblical texts and finally put them in the correct order.
Once we had done this, we then came up with some reasons for who was responsible for Jesus’ death which turned into a rather lively debate! We all had differing opinions ranging from Jesus himself to Barabbas who could have said he was the one who should take the punishment instead of Jesus.
