Year 5 performed Peace Child along with Year 6. They did so brilliantly, everyone commented on their wonderful voices and actions. Not only did they sing beautifully, they also held 2 then 3 parts independently - no mean feat - we were delighted with the execution. They did the school, themselves and church proud
We at Christ Church school decided to do Christingle a little differently this year and get the whole church school involved, not just the school choir, and what a wonderful Christingle service it was.
The whole school did fantastically well and shared the Christmas story to a packed church (thank you to all parents and extended family who came to support the children). We had children doing readings and musical performances for the first time which shows incredible courage and resilience.
Reception class created the tableau of the nativity story to the Come and Join the Celebration song with great maturity and professionalism, and looked fantastic in their costumes!
The whole staff team are so proud of all of the children for how they represented our school and all its values through this special service. What a great start to the Christmas season!
