After asking 'Jane Goodall' some questions about her work with the chimpanzees and her very important conservation work, we then had lots of ideas to begin working on our own science project making a double page persuasive spread on chimpanzee conservation. We had been learning about Jane Goodall and all the incredible, ground breaking work she did with chimpanzees. We learned that the chimp population has decreased so rapidly recently due to deforestation, war, disease and shockingly people wanting exotic pets that we knew we wanted to do something about it.
We were so passionate about the cause that we designed persuasive posters to try and help people make changes so they can help the chimpanzees and for the not to become extinct.
